What is there to say about Bon Jovi? They’re one of rock’s biggest and most successful artists ever, and they’ve kept the music and energy going for over 40 years now! We get to take a look back through their career thanks to the four-part docuseries Thank You, Goodnight: The Bon Jovi Story.

Judging by the trailer, we’ll also get a behind the scenes look at all the bumps and bruises these guys suffered along the way. Erstwhile guitarist Richie Sambora, out of the band for over a decade now, participates in the series and jokes, “I’m excited… are we telling the truth? Are we gonna lie? What are we gonna do?” And we see recent shots of Jon Bon Jovi as he fights through the vocal issues that have sidelined him for the past few years.

But it’s fellow New Jerseyan Bruce Springsteen who says it best: “Jon’s choruses demand to be sung by 20,000 people in an arena!”

All four episodes drop April 26, and here’s a trailer to tide us over.
